
Permits are required for Open Burning & Warming Fires. Get your permits here!
Open burning is usually permitted in the Spring from January 1st – June 1st (burning may close as conditions area is evaluated) and in the Fall from October 1st – December 31st.
Natural vegetation burning hours will be daily from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. All natural vegetation burning must be extinguished by 12 p.m.

Elko County Burn Permits are now available online. Please register for the site and on days you wish to burn, please go to MY PERMITS and activate your burn.
